Department of Public Works Supervisor
The Town of Lyndon Department of Public Works is seeking applications for a part-time DPW Supervisor. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, snowplowing, grass mowing, forestry work as well as any labor required to maintain the Town roads, right-of-ways, utilities, cemetery, or other Town properties and building facilities. Hours and days of work are flexible according to the needs of the department and the employee’s schedule. Most work is daytime hours, except for special tasks such as snow plowing. Approximately 25 to 30 hours weekly will be budgeted for this position.
Minimum qualifications: Prior responsible work experience in the area of road maintenance and/or construction, facilities and grounds maintenance, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. A valid commercial driver’s license is required.
