A complete copy of an application filed with the Public Service Commission by American Transmission Company LLC (ATC) has been received by the Town Clerk on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. The application seeks authority to construct and place into operation a new double-circuit 138 kV transmission line to be located in our area. Pursuant to Wis. Stat. 196.491(3)(a) and Wis. Admin. Code PSC 111.51(4), the Commission has directed ATC to send an electronic copy of the application to the clerk of each municipality, town, and county in which the facilities are to be located, and to the main public library and local libraries in the project area. This information is to be available for public review review until February 3, 2025.
